Aunty Amy's Pics!

So, although it wasn't completly fair to call Amy out on Maggie's blog, it did get the pictures to me quickly! Hee hee. Love you Ames!

Here are a few shots of Maggie hanging out with her Poppy and Aunty Amy, and of course, with her Dad! I wish I could have been around more that weekend, but was thankful for the help! What sucks though, is that Amy isn't in ANY of thes pictures! We'll make up for that with our visit to Martinez coming soon. Can't wait to spend a week in the sun with family and friends!

Interim post

Maggie had a great visit with Poppy and Auntie Amy during my busy commencement weekend. They hung out, went for walks, blew kisses and had some super photo shoots. HOWEVER - I have not received those photos from aforementioned Auntie Amy. SO, instead, I'll fill in with some pictures of Maggie experimenting with using her own utensils, and also a trip to the park with boring ol' Mom & Dad. ;)

SUPER MAGGIE !!!!

Legoland & Lots of Fun w/ the Korn Family!

We had a wonderful visit from the Korn family a few weeks ago. Grandma & Poppa Korn along with Auntie Tracey and Cousin Cameron came down to soak up some sunny San Diego weather! We went to Lego Land and to the beach, and the cute little cousins had lots of fun play time. Maggie loved chasing after Cameron! :)

Here are a few pictures from our outings. Maggie runs all over the place now and talks up a storm! She uses "almost words" and says things like "Whats that?" and "I did it!". She also says "hi" and "bye bye" and calls for PJ in the morning when she wakes up. She's hit a little speed bump with some gnarly teething in the past few weeks, but we had a good night last night, and a decent morning, so this optimist is sure we're on our way back to Happy Maggie!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

We met Jason, Carly, Rhea and Baby Elrod-to-be (Alannah, born yesterday!) at the La Jolla Rec Center for an Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday. It was Maggie's first time participating, and she did a great job! She picked up one egg on her own, and Rhea brought her another one. She ran herself ragged that day (gave her Mom a run for her money too!) and had the best time. She's getting so big, so fast. I brought the bigger camera, and got a ton of shots, so I think I'll narrate through the photos. I think she speaks for herself - she's beautiful! It was a wonderful family day with great friends, and we all left feeling very, very happy.

What a Weekend!

Wow, we had a busy and super fun weekend! We drove up to L.A on Saturday for our friends Irene and Dave's baby shower. First, we stopped in Hollywood for lunch with Irma and Auntie Amy. After that, the baby shower, and then we drove down to Manhattan Beach to check out Amy's apartment which we hadn't seen yet. Maggie loved it! Amy came with us to our hotel in Redondo Beach, and we hung out for a couple hours eating pizza, pears, and goldfish crackers. :) Maggie got her first balloon, too! We have a busy April to look forward to, with visits from Poppy and from Grandma & GRANDPA Korn, Auntie Tracey and Cousin Cam!

I know - it's been awhile!

I'm sorry it has been so long! Here are a few videos from a few weeks ago. Maggie is walking all over the place now, but here is one from when she first started flirting with the idea...

And here's one of her doing her old favorite activity - eating! :) She also shows off her signing ability! haha - this is basically the only sign she knows, except for "all done" and she doesn't seem to use that one very often! Her new favorite activity is walking and carrying things. No video on that yet, but I'm working on it!!
